Acer Aspire XC-1760 i5 12400, Windows 11 Home. I want to upgrade the installed 9462 NGW M.2 card to one which will allow for Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 3.0. Has anyone made this upgrade successfully and if so, what card did you use? I want to remove the existing 9462 NGW card and install the new card in the same M.2 slot.

Thanks for any suggestions.

IIRC the 9462 uses CNVio, not CNVio2, so there are no replacements.

The M.2 slot is CNVIO so I will not be able to get Wi-Fi 6E from that slot. Fortunately, the motherboard also has a small PCIe slot open which will allow me to install an Intel AX 411 which has 6E and Bluetooth 5.3. Now I have to see if the antenna leads will reach all the way down there:-)

Acer lists the Wi-Fi/BT cards below as the compatible WLAN cards for your desktop.
