Hello, I recently purchased an Acer FA100 PCIe gen3 M.2 SSD with a 1TB storage. it worked fine for a little bit. after awhile of not using any software that is on the new ssd, my pc would restart due to a watchdog violation, and when I got back in, the ssd wasn’t listed anywhere, even in BIOS. I have to restart my pc several times to even use the ssd again. This has been going on for a month. Why is this happening and how to I prevent it?

    More details:

    Laptop is a nitro 5 an515

restarts approximately 30-40 minutes of not using new ssd
Can take multiple restart attempts to gain digital access to ssd

physically removing and reinstalling ssd device does reconnect, but has not permanently fixed problem, and is not preferable

    ⟨⟬FA100 1TB ↣ Nitro AN515-54⟭⟩

    ¯\_( ͡°ʖ̯ ͡°)_/¯⭐Bump⭐¯\_(ʘ ʖ̯ ʘ)_/¯ - ..idk if it works like that.

I'm having the same issue, DPC_Watchdog Violation after installing Acer SSD FA100 1TB in second PCIE slot. After "Restart" the drive will not show up. I have to do a full shutdown, then it will show on the next boot.

If anyone knows a fix for this I would appreciate it. Let me know, either here or Match01@Gmail.com

The latest BIOS for AN515-54 is version 1.33, 2021/03/02 that is not yet W11 compatible, if you upgraded to Windows11 you may have driver and update issues. I recommend reinstalling Windows10 and wait for a new BIOS and drivers' version.
