AN515-57-71UX display I want to know how to connect my second. Can it connect through a USB-A port?

I have 2 monitors and I want to know how to connect my second. My main monitor is 165hz and is connected through hdmi but does have a display port although my nitro5 doesn’t have a port for it so I have to use hdmi. I bought my second monitor hoping to connect it through USB-C but an515-57 usb-c port doesn’t support display apparently. I have looked up everything I can think of including daisy chains but because they don’t work with hdmi and my second monitor doesn’t have a DisplayPort, I would have to use multiple hdmi - DisplayPort adaptors which would cap my 165hz main monitor a lot. Is there anything I can do to connect my second monitor without losing much performance on my main monitor? Can it connect through a USB-A port? Please help

would this work? Connect the second monitor to the hdmi and connect the hdmi to my laptop through usb A. Is the normal USB-A port compatible with this?

You have 1 USB-C port 3.2 Gen 2 (10 Gbps), Thunderbolt 4, Power Delivery (PD), DisplayPort all you need is a USB-C to HDMI cable.

If the cable you have does not work, set up Windows Multiple Displays and click on Detect other display.

I have tried this, I don’t think I have a thunderbolt port because the symbol next to it is the normal usb c icon and a website said that only other types have the thunder bolt and the AN515-57 had normal which is why I think the cable j have isn’t working. Is ther anythig else I can do?

All my resources mention Thunderbolt4 support for the AN515-57 laptop, are you sure of your laptop model? There should be this symbol next to the USB-C port:

the exact number is AN515-57-71UX.

that is the icon beside the USB-C port, unless there is another one on the opposite side of the cable. If that is not the correct port to run display, what else can I do to connect my monitor??

I think that the late 2021 models have USB-C with Thunderbolt and Display out and the earlier models support data only. Sorry I can't help you any further, wait till someone else responds. 😑

That’s all good man but are you sure there is no other way you can think? Like literally anything it’s a secondary monitor so I don’t mind cutting the performance too much I just want it to work. Any kind of thing I sent in other posts above would work or anything else? Sorry to bother you but I really want this to work man
