Hello, I had created a boot entry for arch linux using efibootmgr but for some reason the uefi setup menu is showing a blurred block in place of "rEFInd boot manager"

This is Acer nitro 5 (AN515-58) with latest bios InsydeH2O 2.10

I had attached the image of the issue below

It looks like the EFI entry you have created is corrupted.

Thanks for responding! I've attempted creating new entries using efibootmgr with different names, but the issue persists. Any suggestions on fixing this? If feasible, could you kindly escalate this to Acer's software development team?

It sounds like efibootmgr is the culprit, I wonder if it's using something other than ASCII for the naming… Does Arch boot OK if you select the weird characters? We are all just other Acer users here, no escalation path exists from here to Acer engineers. We can sometimes escalate issues to Acer support through the moderators, but they are unlikely to be of help with this type of problem. Have you tried any other EFI editors?

I think I had to take this issue to efibootmgr first. Yes arch boots correctly when asked to. Can you suggest any other efi editor ?
