can i take out my cpu from this, I have an 10700, I have a 3060 ti so that’s strong but feel like cpu ain’t that good, and that my fps games aren’t running like they should.
can I upgrade? And if so, do I have to upgrade PSU too? I have 500W apparently.

Thanks

you can upgrade your CPU, but it's important to ensure compatibility with your existing motherboard. Given that you have an Intel Core i7-10700, which is a strong processor, Upgrading your GPU to a 3060 Ti should provide good performance for most games. Also, before making any upgrades, check your motherboard specifications, and ensure your BIOS is up to date to support newer CPUs.

i already have a 3060 ti, and a 10700, but my fos games like Fortnite don’t work in game battle Royale as smooth as a thought..

What can I upgrade to get more fps? Was thinking about the cpu because the GPU is strong already..

    Maybe PSU? Or I don’t know.. 🤷‍♂️

Would really like some help 😊

Your CPU and GPU should be more than enough for the games you mentioned, but that naturally depends on the resolution you game at.

Replacing PSU on these little boxes is almost impossible. Thankfully it isn't causing lower gaming performance, if any.

Lag/stuttering can be caused by Internet connection, esp. in multiplayer games. Check your ping.

Stuttering can also be caused by CPU getting too hot and thus thermal throttling. How's your temps while gaming?

I hope you installed your games on a M.2 SSD drive and not ancient HDD.

How much RAM do you have? If only 8Gb, there's your culprit.

You can finetune and even overclock your GPU with MSI Afterburner.

I have 16 gb ram, play on 1920:1080p, with performance mode and low settings for more fps (Fortnite)

So what’s the factor of lag and a lot less fps in game than creative (creative ja when I plan alone with 1 more player such as 1v1)

    So what could it be?

What temperatures are you seeing in the game for your CPU? Also monitor your memory usage, you may find that 32GB is better than 16GB. Typically on a PO3-620 I'd do memory first, to 32GB, then the cooling revamp with a Noctua and finally a newer GPU with a 4060. Otherwise you are good to go with what you have.

what temp should I be seeing? Gonna try now and see, but if it’s not the temperature, what could it be? 16 ram should be enough.. as I said, when I play creative alone, it is buttery smooth but in a real game it’s not,… ping is the same tho so don’t think it’s that.. maybe PSU? O cpu?

CPU is 10700 i7 and PSU is 500W

    Your temps are fine.

Maybe you are running out of memory and forced to use a swap file? This would slow down things and cause stutter. What does task manager say under memory while you game and see performance problems? Also, what speed does the task manager say your RAM is? Take a screen capture and post the results if you feel like it. Below is just an example.

Take a peek inside and see in which memory slots the two RAM sticks are installed.

Do you have anti-virus or VPN? When playing multiplayer games online, does turning them off help? (When you are not gaming turn them back on.)

Also, check what programs are running on the background, as there could be tons of unnecessary things eating resources.

Looks like you missed that OP already has 3060 Ti. For more graphics Oomph! he needs something more potent. I still think it is a RAM issue.
