If your laptop is experiencing a "No Display" issue, with power and the keyboard backlight always on, it could be caused by various factors. Here are some suggestions to help you troubleshoot the problem:

    1. External Display:
      • Connect your laptop to an external monitor to check if the issue is with the laptop's display or a more significant hardware problem.
    2. Brightness Settings:
      • Sometimes, the display brightness might be set to the lowest level. Try adjusting the brightness settings using the keyboard shortcuts on your laptop.
    3. Hard Reboot:
      • Turn off your laptop, disconnect the power adapter, and remove the battery (if possible). Press and hold the power button for about 15 seconds. Then, reconnect the power and battery (if applicable) and turn on your laptop.
    4. Check for Loose Connections:
      • Ensure that all cables, including the power cord and any external monitors, are securely connected to your laptop.
    5. Boot into Safe Mode:
      • Boot your laptop into Safe Mode to see if the issue persists. Safe Mode loads only essential drivers, helping you identify if a third-party application or driver is causing the problem.
    6. Graphics Driver:
      • Update or reinstall your graphics driver. Visit the laptop manufacturer's website or the graphics card manufacturer's website to download the latest driver.
    7. BIOS/UEFI Update:
      • Check if there's a BIOS/UEFI update available for your laptop on the manufacturer's website. Sometimes, firmware updates address display-related issues.
    8. Hardware Issue:
      • If the problem persists, it could be a hardware issue. In this case, it's advisable to contact the laptop manufacturer's support or take your laptop to a professional technician for further diagnosis.
    9. Memory/RAM Issue:
      • Faulty RAM can sometimes cause display issues. Try reseating or replacing the RAM modules to see if it makes a difference.
    10. Power Reset:
    • Disconnect the laptop from the power source, remove the battery (if applicable), and hold down the power button for about 30 seconds. Reconnect the power source and try turning on the laptop.

If none of these suggestions resolve the issue, it's best to seek assistance from the laptop manufacturer's support or consult with a professional technician to diagnose and fix the problem.

I recommend bringing your laptop and power adapter to a reputable PC repair shop or if a recent laptop model to Acer Services in your country for checking.

I still don't get blue light from the LED indicator.

If the battery charge indicator doesn't turn to steady blue from steady or blinking orange after 24hrs with the laptop turned off, then you probably need a new battery.
