how to stop palm from interfering on acer r7

Hey guys, asides from the wifi issues this laptop has, it is a very good computer I am loving it so far.

Two things though, the stylus seems to suck, not always registering what I am trying to write (Anything im doing wrong? Or should I just go buy a higher quality stylus?)

And most importantly, when im taking notes for school on microsoft one note, I cant rest my palm on the screen because it screws everything up. What can I do to fix this?

Thanks a lot in advance for your time guys.

Regards,

Simon

what do you mean u can't rest your palm on the screen!!!!

this r7 stylus is for certain small work only( not as you see in R7 video presentation).

I have not heard of a stylus for this model, which one are you using?

Unfortunatly the original R7 does not have a digitizer layer and the stylus is of the capacitive type. There is no way to get palm rejection like you get on a wiacom or n-trig pen. The next version has this option though.

i am using the metal stylus with the flat tip that was provided with the laptop, and to avoid my palm from interferingwith what I am currently writing I just rest it on the microfibre cloth that I use to clean my screen, lol pain in my butt at the moment...thats why i was wondering if this computer had palm rejection, you would think it would considering 99% of them do now..

and i was hoping that if it doesn't they will release a new software update that allows palm rejection
