I have an Acer Aspire 3 A515-59G-57NU laptop. I want to upgrade the SSD in my laptop, but I don't know the maximum capacity it can support. Thank you in advance for your help in finding out how much it can handle.

The below M.2 SSD drive specs is what your Aspire A515-59G laptops M.22 SSD drives are and Acer lists their specs for your laptop, your laptops has the following M.2 SSD drive specs:

    • BOOT SSD1 is a spec M.2 SSD PCI4x4 type M.2 SSD. (fastest drives are the Samsung 990 Pro NVMe or the WD SN850X Black NVMe)
    • SLAVE SSD2 is a spec M.2 SSD PCIe3x4 type M.2 SSD, which this Gen 3 M.2 drive has a 50% slower sequential read/write speed than the Gen 4 BOOT SSD1 drive (fastest drives are the Samsung 970 Pro or Plus NVMe or the WD SN750 Black NVMe.)

As far as capacities are concerned, Acer lists a max 1TB capacity drive, but this laptop can function with a 2TB capacity comfortably. If you want to fit a 4TB M.2 SSD drive, then I can't guarantee that it will work, and if you upgrade to a 4TB M.2 SSD drive, you do it at your own risk. Good luck

Thank you for your answer, 1 TB storage space is enough for me for now.
