How to connect power when missing the silver support leg? Aspire 7600U

I have the Acer Aspire 7600U, and the silver support leg into which the power connects is missing and is not available. Can I still connect power?

I see a circular port under a cover plate. What type of connector is this? Can you provide a part number for the power adapter that plugs into this port?

Thanks! :-)

What happened to your Bottom braket, as that is part of the DC_IN jack? You need to get a new bracket like below with the DC_IN jack and then connect it to the back of the AIO PC, there is no other way to power this on.

Note: take your AIO to an experienced technician to fix this braket onto your AIO PC and don't do it yourself as you will destroy this PC. Below are the part that you need and I don't know if you can still get this part as this AIO is 10 years old. Good luck

    Hello StevenGen,

Thank you so much for your feedback! This computer was working and mounted on the wall in our hotel entrance for several years. Since the computer was wall mounted, the silver 'computer stand' could not be on the back of the computer. Then about a year ago I disconnected the wall mounted computer from power and just left it hanging on the wall, disconnected. I did not pay much attention at the time to the actual port, which looking at it now does not look like any power port I'm familiar with. Now we would like to turn the computer on again, unfortunately I have no idea what happened to the original power adapter after the computer was disconnected… shoot. :-(

You need to open this AIO PC back case and find where the DC-IN port connects to and where its + & - pins are and connect this AIO PC to power. To reconnect this AIO PC to the wall, you need a qualified technician who can find the power pins to do this, as this AIO PC normal connection is with an adapter like below:

    Aspire AIO 7600U power adapters

Get a qualified electrician or computer technician to do this for you as we can't advise you on doing anything that can be a hazard and can cause you a dangerous or fatal electrical shock!
