Aspire S3-391 Touchpad driver. After reinstalling win 10 touchpad not working
I've just reinstalled Windows 10 Home on my Acer S3. It's all working apart from the touchpad. I recall this failed earlier due to driver issues that I overcome at the time.
I've tried various drivers - v11.6.27.201, v11.6.24.203, v11.15.0.18 but so far have had no luck.
I've tried running the earlier ones in compatibility mode.
Can anybody offer any suggestions?

Function key + F7 !!! This enables and disables the pad! All drivers appear ok - it was this that prevented it from working.

'Install serial I/O driver from support' - nothing seems obviously the 'serial i/o' driver. Device manager also states that 'PCI simple communications controller' has no drivers. Again nothing seems obvious for this on driver download pages.
Please eloborate if you are able to.
