I was just wondering what the max amount of RAM my model can handle, as well as if the Crucial CT2K32G48C40S5 64GB SDRAM would be compatible.

    Your Nitro AN517-54 has the below ram specs of max total of 32GB at 2x 16GB DDR4-3200MHz CL22 type ram into each ram slot, and you would be advised to also make sure that you have a top-quality M.2 SSD like an M.2 SSD Samsung 990Pro NVMe or the WD SN850X Black NVMe type drives as the combination of the max ram and a quick SSD drive will make your laptop perform at its peak performance.

    Yes, I am already planning on uprgading my SSD aswell, but I am confused as what you mean in the first sentence. Does this mean it does not support DDR5? You said the max total is 32 GB, but the image you provided says that its max capacity is 64 GB.

    So basically asking if yes or no is it compatible, and if the max is 32 or 64.
