No factory SSD in boot sequence Acer A315-59

I bought new Aspire 315-59 with No OS and tried to install windows from bootable USB stick.

Windows setup says: "We couldn't create a new partition or locate an existing one". See the screenshot -

I deleted and formatted partition using the installation screen buttons, same message.

After that I went to BIOS to check boot sequence and noticed that no SSD (UEFI blah-blah) was no more listed there, only USB bootable stick.

Main BIOS screen shows the SSD Micron MTFDKBA512TFK, but how can I install Windows on it if it is not visible in the boot sequence?

Is there anything I can do to make BIOS see the Micron SSD?'

Hi,

Go to Acer Support site( link below), download and extract IRST Driver, save it in the bootable USB drive, when it asks "where do you want to install Window", click Load driver at the bottom left hand side, then browse to USB installation disk you have created,

Thank you, already did it before your advice. Without drivers the Windows Wizard simply does not see the SSD. And in my case it does, see my first screenshot. My problem looks like a hardware controller issue - wrong mode or something. I can't see any options in the BIOS about changing storage modes - AHCI etc.. Is the BIOS by default set to AHCI and no other variant?

No driver issue was here.

Found the solution on a Linux people forum.

No need to return factory UEFI partition to the SSD.

I had an EFI (System) partition on the bootable flash drive that I used to install Windows. And this partition prevented Windows installation from going further.

I deleted the EFI partition from the USB stick, erased the SSD with deletion of partitions and wiping sectors, started the Win 11 installation and it went further and was successfully finished.
