[AN515-58-525P] Why doesn't my Laptop detect my speakers on Win10?

New Nitro 5 user here. I recently got a AN515-58 and have since downgraded from Win11 to Win10. I noticed that on both OSs, I did not have audio, even when plugging in my headphones. I opened up the laptop, the speakers are there with the wires (couldn't find anything wrong with those).

I have tried uninstalling the audio driver and nothing conclusive happened. Help is greatly appreciated!

This is a Windows11 machine with an Intel 12th Gen. chipset and it is not recommended to downgrade the laptop OS to Windows 10 as drivers will not be compatible and updates will fail.

That is impossible that Win-11 or Win-10 does not detect your new Nitro 5 AN515-58 laptop speakers, unless both of your laptop speakers were not connected and their connecting wires are disconnected or damaged as at least one should work, as there are two speakers. Or both speakers are damaged and not working at all, which is highly unlikely. Send your laptop back to Acer Tech Support because for a new laptop that should NOT be happening, don't open and/or try to do anything with the speakers, get Acer to fix this problem for you.

As the Nitro AN515-58 model is fairly new and are the last Nitro 5 models release before the current and latest 13th Gen cpu and the 40 Series NVidia gpu Nitro models, you must have done something wrong with the Win-10 installation also, but DON'T RUN WIN-10 ON THE AN515-58 AS THIS LAPTOP IS DESIGNED FOR WIN-11 ONLY! ,

Also, a clean installation of both of those OSs will install your laptops speaker drivers that should work and that includes the audio Bluetooth capabilities of your laptop. Be aware that the Nitro 5 AN515-58 laptop works on the below audio drivers and any of these driver if they are corrupted will give you no speaker sound, so check these drivers out and/or refresh them so that they are installed properley in Device Manager > Sound video and game controllers, The below caption is from the Intel® Driver & Support Assistant that you should have installed in your laptop and also the latest NVidia game ready driver. Do that and see if the speakers will work, as they should, good luck and hope this helps you out.

Yeah, I realized that when I looked into it more. I did a factory reset and reinstalled Windows 11 and the machine works fine now.

    Thank you for answering!

Interested whether you are able to have sound coming from the speaker. One post states impossible for the speaker not to connect in Win 10 or 11. This may be true, to a degree. However, if it is unable to connect and play sound is another matter altogether. My AN515-57 can be be seen in Device Manager and shows connected. However, cannot integrate fully. Never seen anything like it. Microsoft tech support has also tried for close to an hour running several different attempts. Also tried to different models of Bluetooth speakers and same error message.
