Helios 300 Predator PH315-53, partnumber NH.Q7ZED.00M

Running Windows 11 Home, 64 bit with all updates.
GPU is Nvidia RTX 2070 8GB Max-Q.
CPU and system temperature are working fine, but not GPU temp in the Predator Sense software.

According to Acer suport, I uninstalled PredatorSense and then reinstalled it, but it did not help.
BIOS date 2021-january (latest is october 2021) Should I try a BIOS update? Its risky!

Due to GPU running warm and was noisy a few months ago, I opened up fan and cleaned everything properly and also greased the axial pin in the fan blade (the fan was making a grinding noise before adding grease).

I need some more suggestions where to check next in order to have the GPU temperature working again in Predator Sense.

I updated Nvidia drivers, uninstalled PredatorSense, rebooted PC, and then reinstalled PredatorSense, I also change graphics settings to Auto (as suggested by brummyfan2) and now it is working !

The GPU is idling, so it does not show the temperature. You can try to run a game or application that uses a dedicated GPU and recheck the PredatorSense to see if the GPU's temperature shows up.

Please remember to include @AnhEZ28 when you want to reply back to my comment so that I can check your response.
Thank you and have a nice day!
  • Hi,

Open NVIDIA Control panel, switch to High Performance Processor for 3D Manage 3D settings, then move to Configure Surround and PhysX, as shown in the pictures.

Try to install the PH315-53 Predator Sense by splitting up the install into two:

    1. Click on this folder

    2. Then internally, click on the folder below as this will get you to an install section of Predator Sense and then install this section:

    3. After you have installed the above go to the main Predator Sense folder and use the main Setup Application, as this should install the PS properly, see if this will install a fully workable Predator Sense, as that is what I did on my Nitro laptop and it worked 100%

It was working good after last installation 2 days ago (29 Nov, see my previous post).
Today it was faulty again. What is happning to this software???

Now I tried solution from @StevenGen , I uninstall PredatorSense and PredatorSense Services, and directly after the installation the PredatorSense is working good again! Lets hope for the best that it stay like this! (if not, then I will come back)

Problem always come back the next day. It can only be solved temporarily by uninstalling, reboot Pc, reinstalling PredatorSense. But next day, problem come back.
