I have a Acer boot 5, I don’t k ow what model it is beside the number on the back cover of the laptop Model. N20C1. I would power up the computer and it just won’t output a sign signal on the monitor. It has power.. when I power it on it starts and the fans start spinning but after 2 seconds of power it shuts off.

I believe your laptop model is Acer Nitro 5 AN515-55-59KS from 2020.

Check if there is a small pinhole in the back of your laptop (with a battery symbol) and stick a pin in that hole till you feel it click (micro switch), keep pressing the pin for a few seconds. This will reset the battery. If there is no reset pinhole try the following:

Power drain + CMOS reset: Open the back of the laptop and disconnect the battery cable from the motherboard and remove the battery. Locate the CMOS module (with 2 twisted wires Red and Black) in the main battery slot (top left side) and remove the coin battery. Shorten the +/- contacts inside the CMOS capsule for 2 seconds with a bended paperclip and put the coin battery back with the + sign facing up, close the CMOS capsule. Unseat and firmly reseat the 2 DDR4 modules in the slots. Next, press the Power Button on the keyboard for 10-15 seconds after that replace and reconnect the main battery cable to the motherboard. Close the laptop, plug-in the adapter and try to boot. If still no booting, replace the battery.

Hi, thank you for your answer, but I may have found out what is wrong with the laptop maybe, quote me when you respond but I do get a hdmi reading from the laptop and it is displaying signal, I think the monitors cable may be loose or something.
