Acer c27 making strange sound that isn't coming through the speakers

My new all-in-one is randomly making a strange background noise that is unrelated to what is happening on the computer. It is not fan noise, as I can hear that cycling on and off. It sounds digital, but it is not a typical beep. It's a subtle, almost hiccup sound. I haven't figured out what exactly triggers it, but it does seem to happen shortly after clicking on something windows related, like the settings icon.

Any ideas?

Sorry, I should mention that the noise still happens when the speakers are at 0 volume, so I don't think it's coming from the speakers.

That's going to be tough to diagnose. Maybe something happening in the power supply, or does your C27 model have an external brick? There have been so many different C27s over the years. Your full model number is usually on the same sticker as your serial number, it should look something like C27-xxx-xxxx.
