ANV15-51-53VM What's the maximum SODIMM DDR5 RAM for the Nitro V 15 and what RAM speeds?

Acer has made me a fan of these laptops with my AN515-55. The only issue I had with my AN515-55 is opening the screen up and down just broke, then I used it so much keys started to fall off the keyboard. I still use it with a 2.1 HDMI cable 20 foot to my tv in my room when I want to mess around.

My point is my AN515-55, I had to update it to actually game on it 8gig of ddr at 3200mhz I could not even game. i crashed ram being at 98% full 24/7. I upgraded to 2x16 dual channel 3600mhz. From building desktops with ddr4 I knew they was the speed to go for. if the laptop could not handle it it will auto downgrade ram is plug in play.

This thread many posters are misleading seem to not know what they are talking about. I just bought my newest one. ANV15-51 Which again 8gb of ram but adverised 16gb, I need to contact retailer on this. HOWEVER. The 8gb is running at 5200 mhz, I know nothing about DDR5. and what speed people are desiring.

so to help anyone do not worry if you buy faster ram than the system can handle it will just downgrade it. even on acer I cannot find specs of the board I may not be looking good enough but it does say it supports up to 32gb so best to get is 2x16 dual. DDR5 but What is max speed? 4800mhz is clearly wrong. Benchmarks online on userbench mark is 5600mhz i am going to assume at this time this is the standard. so i will buy

2x16gb ddr5 5600mhz. untill then i had a spare of ddr4 2x16 3600 i wanna try to push it to 3800 but we will see. @StevenGen he answered best even though the pictures no longer work. but the max speeds needs to be more open. in my opinion i should not have to be looking this hard…..

other than that i love these laptops for the prices and the updates they need to run twice as good harddrives and ram is CHEAP. less than 100 for each. so worth it. I dont care what benchmarks or people say or review. they are probably taking factory and going with it and doing nivida auto optimze. lol.

telling you right now you try to run cyberpunk nivida auto optimzed with ANV15-51 you are going to run like[Sensitive Content]. I finally figured it out cloud reflections and fog effects on low i went from 40 fps to 111. but I said forget this and downloaded a mod to reshade the game b/c cd red seems to not have any clue optimizing shaders.

knowledge is power. my only regret is this new laptop is not a K series. I cannot manually overclock it a little if i wanted to. Trying to figure out out to keep the turbo on. I always keep my laptops on stands with fans. because I have overheated and ruined laptops by not doing that. people that say thats myths buy a laptop and ill show you how to make it a brick for you.
