a315-24p-r6sk Windows 10 LTSC 2021 21H2 on a new 2TB NVME drive.

Which according to acer's product description, the USB C port should be 3.2

Number of USB 3.2(Type-C) Ports

1 x USB Type-C™ port USB supporting : (USB 3.2 Gen 2/DisplayPort over USB-C/USB charging 5 V; 3 A/DC-in port 19 V; 45 W)

So it is unclear why device manager is only showing 3.1 drivers.

My primary question: Where can I get USB 3.2 gen 2 drivers? The driver page list has a chipset driver, but nothing specific for USB…so I assume.

Windows update isn't downloading anything….BUT I shouldn't need windows update. If the laptop is supposed to come with this…then Acer should provide it.

—————————The original problem I have is that I recently received a new USB C hub 8-in-1 devices and it keeps disconnecting its internal drive (apparently contains drivers/manual) every 20 seconds or so (no other devices are plugged into the hub…just the hub itself). But based on the specs above, this shouldn't be happening. Or perhaps the USB hub itself could be defective or has other problems.
