I tried to use a external storage and the usb-c doesn't recongnise, i bought another cable thinking it was the problem, but don't work either. I have the Crucial X8 - 2TB and I saw other users with the same problem. I updated the firmware and all the drivers avaiable.
Someone have the same problem and resolved this issue?

Acer is aware of this problem and trying to find a solution?

    Do you hear the beep sequence when you plug it in that shows it's being seen by the USB port? If you have Device Manager open, does a device get added when you plug it in? What device gets added? An external drive like that shouldn't have any issues being recognized…

    External USB HDD cases come in many different formats ranging from USB 2.0 to USB 4.0, try a different port and cable, USB 2.0 may work. https://www.thewindowsclub.com/external-hard-drive-not-showing-up

    @billsey
    when I plug the external storage, I hear that bip, but the computer doesn't recognise. I'll try do identify the devices added. I read about the TB4, is not a proprietary port (so it uses a windows driver instead of a drive from the thunderbolt entity). The PD function works fine, HDMI too, if i plug a HUB and try to connect from this hub, pen drives, RJ45, HDMI, doesn't work, I need to reboot with the HUB connect, than works fine. I tried the same thing with my ext Storage and doesn't work. And anwsering @Puraw
    I tried other cables, specifics cables for TB3 and TB4, same result, and the cable that comes with my ext storage, works in other computers.
    I just printed before and after I plug my external drive and shows "Unknown USB Device Port Reset Failed" error code 43.
    This problem starts the moment I started my computer (clean windows 11 - from Acer), instaled only common programs, like office, streaming programs like netflix, etc, nothing than the ordinary.

    —IMPORTANT—
    "I was sending this comment but I need to complement, I tried a simple USB-C to USB-C cable (size 1.2m), and works, the speeds are ridiculously lower than the original cable. With the proper cable a reach 1000MB/s with a simple cable 40MB/s and creates a new driver in storage controllers - USB Attached SCSI (UAS) Mass Storage Device"—xxx—

    Any sugestions?

    And by the way, thanks for trying helping me.
