ACER Nitro 5 AN 515-46 Can I install 64GB on my laptop. This is very important to me.

Hello, community.

My laptop is ACER Nitro 5 AN 515-46 (NH.QH1AA.005). Specifications are:

1 - CPU is AMD Ryzen 7 6800H

2 - GPU is RTX 3070ti mobile

Now, from HWinfo64 I've got the following info:

1 - Motherboard is RB Jimny_RBH V1.09 Chipset AMD Promontory/Bixby FCH

2 - RAM memory is DDR5 SODIMM - 16gb preinstalled (2 slots)

Now, I want to increase my RAM to 64gb (32+32). According to Acer's official statement my exact laptop can handle up to 32gb RAM. https://www.acer.com/us-en/support/product-support/AN515-46/NH.QH1AA.005/details

But, HWinfo64 shows that the maximum capacity is 64gb

Please advise me what should I do. 64gb is required for my specific task (3D graphics).

Probably because i have a 2021 5800H+3060 AN515-45 which acer says supports 32GB max but i am running
64GB for a while now. So it would be a safe bet that memory capacity is dictated by cpu max supported and not company max tested.

I forgot to mention, that I also want to clean a bit my cooling system, too dusty. What type of thermal paste do you recommend? Is Arctic MX-4 suitable for my laptop?

This model can be upgraded to 64GB or RAM.

For thermal paste, you can use MX-6 or Kryonaut.
