No bootable device (Model: AN515-58-760C) - what do I do?

Hi! My Nitro 5 just stopped working this morning. It was on, I was working on it as usual. Left for like five mins, came back and it said"No bootable device" on the screen. I know it wanted to update so I thought it had started that process and got stuck somehow.

I've spent several hours on YT and on forums trying to figure out what's up. I've done the Start → F2 and explored the Bios. Now, about the HDD0 Model Name and HDD0 Serial Number. The 1st time I remember it saying "None". The 2nd time there were information. From the 3rd time onward it said "None" again.

I've opened up the computer and re-connected the memory, no luck.
I've restarted and taking everything out from USB ports etc, essentially just a mouse.
Also tried restart with the charger being removed.
The clock under "Main" in Bios is correct.

What do I do? Thoughts/help GREATLY appreciated!

Drive failure (SSD and/or HDD), no drives are detected or BIOS needs to be reset. Press F9 in BIOS to reset and save on exit. Reboot to BIOS with F2 and if still no drives detected try this:
Power drain + CMOS reset: Open the back of the laptop and disconnect the battery cable from the motherboard. Locate the CMOS module (with 2 twisted wires Red and Black) and remove the coin battery. Shorten the +/- contacts inside the CMOS capsule for 2 seconds with a bended paperclip and put the coin battery back with the + sign facing up, close the CMOS capsule. Next, press the Power Button on the keyboard for 10-15 seconds after that reconnect the battery cable to the motherboard. Close the laptop, plug-in the adapter and try to boot.

If none of this helps bring the laptop to Acer Services in your country.

Btw, I opened it up again to reconnect the SSD/HDD. Now the screen won't start. The keyboard is glowing red and the fans are going, but no screen. Did I mess something up in the process or could this be an effect of the drive faliure you mentioned?

As long as you disconnect the battery nothing can go wrong. After you try the CMOS etc, reset and still no drives detected or BSOD you should bring the laptop to Acer Services in your country.

Ok. But where does the black screen come into the picture? Even if I get the drives to work, if the screen doesn't wouldn't be able too know/see anyway?
