Uninstall your current graphics driver completely and then reinstall the graphics driver with the latest one. Check your RAM, as it could be a bad RAM module, take the RAM out and try it on another laptop and see if the module is faulty or put another module or if you have 2x modules take one out and test laptop with 1x module memory stick. Also clean the pins of both mobo RAM pins and the RAM stick and restart the laptop, if that doesn’t work then you have to inspect the LCD screen plug to the mobo if its corroded or plugged in properly or trace the connecting wire to the LCD screen in the upper case and see if the cable is not broken and/or shortening out anywhere? If there is no problems there then its your LCD screen, first connect your AN517-51 to an external monitor and see if these lines are there also? If its the OEM LCD screens then here are the list of LCD screens and Acer part number for the AN516-51:

    Hi,

The only solution that solved my issue was to undervolt the cpu.

I used Throttlestop and undervolted the cpu until I got some stable temps 40 - 50 deg idle and 70 -80 deg in full load (still a lot but It didnt crash)

That's good that you fixed it. But my laptop crashes with artifacts randomly especially on high temperature. Also I don't get it how to fix hardware by myself. I'm afraid that can turn it into useless piece of metal
