Hi Everybody.
I bought an Acer Predator (3070 Ti, i7-12700H) laptop 4 months ago and there was no problem with heating until the last 2 weeks. While playing games, I was getting temperatures between 70-77 degrees with 100-120W and the fans were spinning between 4000-4500 RPM.After updating the BIOS 2 weeks ago, I am now getting a temperature in the range of 80-87 degrees in games where I used to get 70-77 degrees, (the weather has also gotten colder compared to 4 months ago) the fans are still in the 4000-4500 RPM range and the wattage values are in the same range, but the temperature is in the range of 80-87 degrees. My guess is that it is related to the BIOS update, but in these 4 months, I used the laptop passively and actively for about 10 hours every day. Is there any chance of thermal paste drying out? I don't know if they use a good paste when producing Acer laptops. You can look at the temperature tests of this laptop, 80-85 degrees are really high degrees.By the way, the fan settings are in automatic mode, but it seems strange to me that it is still spinning at the same RPM at 85 degrees. I wonder if the laptop's limit is 85 degrees? I don't know if the fans spin more violently after 85 degrees. The first thing that came to my mind was the BIOS update. Will the Windows update also cause a problem?Thank you for your help.(Sorry for the mistakes in the article, I used google translate.)
