Ive had the PH315-52-710B since 2020. Haven’t had many issues, but today while I was gaming with it plugged in it kept unplugging and replugging. It was receiving power just fine, then it started to spaz and stop receiving power and then recieve power again from the charger. I need to be able to charge my laptop, can anyone help? It has an i7 9750 and a 1660ti with 16 gigs of ram.

  • Hi @Form first try a power reset and then a battery calibration:

When I try to RTC and/or EC it just shuts down/restarts my laptop.

  • You must do it with the equipment turned off and with the times that appear in the capture of 10 and 12 seconds in each case.

    All the best.

I tried doing both and nothing changed. I don’t have acer care center and I tried installing it but it would only let me uninstall. When I tried to uninstall it worked and when I installed it it still didn’t show the app so now i can’t open it. I’m on 20% now and it won’t charge

I am so sorry it was something wrong with the charger itself and I fixed it. Thank you for your time

  • Calibration can be done manually, it consists of letting the battery drain and recharging.
If the reset does not solve anything and the device works with the charger, the battery may have problems, you should take the device to a technical service to have it checked.
If the equipment is still under warranty, talk directly to Acer.

    All the best.
