    Hi Jack

The actual monitor where the colours appear not so good as the external monitor I plugged into the AIO is the AIO itself, the external monitor I connected to the AIO, the CBA242Y looks good .

Is it possible to have a program on the AIO to change colours, the AIO is an Aspire C24.

    Thanks

It sounds like the issue you are referring to is with the internal monitor, not the external. The external looks fine, the internal looks washed out. Is that correct? The color adjustments in Windows are pretty much all you have to work with in that case. Different monitors will often look different even with the settings the same. You haven't told us which C24 model you have, there have been a lot of different ones over the years. Your full model number is usually on the same sticker as your serial number, it should look something like C24-xxx-xxxx. Which external monitor are you using? Different technologies between the two displays will also affect the colors and saturation.

As @billsey mentioned, the Control Panel color management is pretty much what you have to work with for the C24's color profile. And yes, the full C24 model number might help too. For example, C24-1851?

Search Windows start menu 'color'. Click Control Panel's Color Management near top of menu. In the box that pops up, click All Profiles tab. Please post a screenshot of result if possible to see what Windows Color & ICC profile files are installed.

Did you download, unzip and try to install the following C24-1700 VGA driver and utility Win11 updates yet?

    Hi Jack

    Thanks again for your help.

I've just connected an ACER monitor to my all in one and the image looks much better, more blue with the sky not so washed out, the reds also look better?

    Thanks

What about the AiO's own screen after installing the VGA driver and utility updates?

Do you mean via the OSD menu?

Thanks, the OSD menu which gives you more control over the monitor.

If I'd have realised it wasn't possible to have full control of what you see on the AIO monitor I would have never have bought an AIO. In the work I do editing to a high quality I need more control of the colours I require.

Also please why am I still a big advert over the posts? This is very annoying…

You have a bit more flexibility in changing the default AiO screen profile in Control Panel's Color Management app. But you have to experiment with them. You can start out with the calibration again by checkmarking the use Windows calibration box in the Advanced tab if you haven't done so already. The other options require a bit more work if they don't appear in the Devices tab for the AiO screen because we have to add them from a Windows system subdirectory where they're installed.

Also please why am I still a big advert over the posts? This is very annoying…

What "big advert" you're referring to? An advertisement? Or are you referring to the annoying somewhat persistant pop-up that appears when mouse pointer hovers over the "Forums" heading?

    Hi Jack

Thanks for your help over the past days with my color issue.

I'll tinker around with the advanced calibration.

What a shame the AIO doesn't have an OCD on the side of the monitor.

I actually posted a screenshot earlier today with the advert that kept popping up under

    the posts.

Thanks again for the help, I think I'll just have to live with things as they are, it's not terribly bad

Apparently some site maintenance is happening so maybe the "advert" issue will be resolved sometime. If possible, please try to post a screenshot of Control Panel's Color Management Devices tab to see if other profiles specifically designed for the AiO screen need to be added so you can more easily play around with them to try to get the AiO internal screen as close as possible to what's displayed on the external CBA242Y screen

Sorry, no screenshot appeared. The popups shouldn't be happening. Do you have a 3rd party, non- m icro soft scanner running? Are you using Chrome or Edge browser?

    Hi Jack

I'm using Chrome, no big pop ups today, just a small one under the link top right Lord of the rings which isn't an issue.

I've given up with the color issue with my AIO I'll just have to live with it like the annoying beep at start up and I've checked the BIOS I can't see anywhere to turn it off.

Chrome and its Edge offshoot are resource hogs. Try FireFox instead.

Startup beeps can often be disabled in Windows sound settings if they occur immediately before the BIOS logo loading circle animation appears.

Adding color profiles in the advanced section list can be found in C :\ Windows\System32\spool\drivers\color.

Unfortuantely the start up beep as far as I'm aware cannot be stopped with this AIO.

As regards adding profiles that looks advanced so will leave that alone.

    Thanks for your help
