I took a break from doing a project and laid back in the couch, the laptop was plugged in and was functioning normally. I'm sure it was not overheated because its not that warm and Im not doing anything heavy.

Suddenly the laptop turned off, and I remember a click sound before it went off. I rushed to check, the charge indicator was not turning on, I tried unplugging and re-plugging, the laptop wont turn on nor the charging indicator.

Im worried, does anyone know the problem here?

The laptop is Predator Helios Neo 16 PHN16-71-795K Gaming Notebook.

This is a new laptop so battery and adapter should be OK. You may have an issue with the new Windows11 SO Modern Standby protocol that goes to sleep or hibernate mode and won't wake anymore. Best to bring the laptop to the retailer or Acer Services in your country to reset BIOS and system to factory defaults. If you have personal data on your SSD ask Acer Services to make an image of the drive before resetting it.

Thank you for responding! So I went to the service center, they tried to turn on the laptop it did not turn on, plugged in my charger, no indicator light and wont also turn on. They tried with a different charger, it was a different charger adapter than what I have, and it charged and turned on. When it turned on, the battery was fully charged and was able to hold charge even when the charger was unplugged. They plugged in my charger and it was now working, charging indicator turned on.

They told me to monitor the situation for now and just return when the problem reoccur.
