Hey everyone,

Just purchased a Helios Neo PHN16-71-73LT. Seems great, but man this 330W power adapter weighs more than the laptop! I'd like to use the 230W AK.230AP.005 adapter when I'm on the go, and just keep my 330W at home, but I'm not sure if the 230W is compatible, and I don't want to fry my battery. Acer's website says it is compatible, but that specific model isn't listed on the adapter specs so I feel like I'm getting conflicting info. I'd only be using the laptop for AutoCad on the go, and only doing hardcore gaming when I'm at home. So as far as power consumption, I don't think it'd be a problem. Just want to make sure I'm not gonna mess my new laptop up.

Use the SlimQ 330 as this is made for 330W and the most powerful gaming laptops, as its made for the Acer Predator range of laptops also and its 50% smaller and lighter than your 330W Predator charger and has USB-C charging. You can’t just use any USB-C charger on these high powered gaming laptops.

This what SlimQ says about their chargers - as power-hungry gaming laptops need power. And now there's a new style 330W charger that's smaller, lighter, and faster than any similar gaming laptop charger. If you want to keep your gaming laptop powered up but don't want to carry around a bulky, brick-like charger, the SlimQ 330W GaN-based charger is the winner.
