do this fix to start it up. Quite frankly I am fed up with turning my computer upside down, finding the little hole and shoving paper clip in it for 30 seconds. With all of the knowledge available at Acer why not develop a system whereby a key on the keyboard would achieve the same result as bent paper clip or better still a better battery. This is a real pain [Content Removed]

Check the condition of the battery with Windows Battery Report, if the capacity is low or won't charge to 100% you may have a power adapter issue, try another adapter and see if you have the same booting problem with the battery disconnected (boot with adapter).
Open the laptop disconnect the battery and unseat and reseat the DDR4 module, make sure it is fully inserted and secured with the slot clasp. If that did not fix it time to bring your laptop and power adapter to Acer services in your country to check this out and reset the system to factory defaults.

First try to do a Hard Reset and see if that will help to revive the On/Off keyboard key switch, or you might have other problem of turning the laptop On, as not being able to turn your laptop on from its On/Off key is more likely that the On/Off actual switch underneath that keyboard power key is faulty and you need to take your laptop to a technician that can get that part or fix this issue for your laptop, as you need to have a microscope and all the tools to be able to either change or repair that switch, as a user like you can't do or fix these microscopic parts.

To do a Hard Reset look at the diagrams below and follow this guide, 1st - unscrew the 10 screws of the lower case, then pry the lower case cover open as shown below, disconnect and unscrew the two screws and take the main battery out, disconnect the RTC/BIOS battery and short its mainboard + & - pins to reset the CMOS, take the ram module out and leave all these components disconnected for 1 hour, after reconnect everything back as it was and try the On/Off key to reboot the laptop as the laptop should boot from that keyboard key, if not then check the keyboard On/Off key underneath switch. Good luck and hope this helps you out, as you should not be turning the laptop with the underneath battery reset pin with a paper clip.

Disconnect the RTC/BIOS battery from its mainboard plug and short that mainboard plug + & - pins to reset CMOS with a flat screwdriver.
