Hello I have a Acer nitro 5 AN515-55 laptop its been almost a year and I these past 3 months I have a Bluetooth related issues and I have been trying to solve it
I have tried a lot of different things but couldn't get it fixed
The issue is I have a Bluetooth speaker and whenever I connect the laptop to the speaker with Bluetooth it pairs with it just fine but the audio keeps connecting and disconnecting I tried unpairing the device restarting troubleshooting nothing works
Recently I got little close to solving so when you search services in the search box and find windows audio option and restart it the connecting and disconnecting issue solves for temporary just until I switch off my laptop or disconnect the Bluetooth and when I turn the Bluetooth on the same problem repeats but now I can't even use this temporary method it stopped working
Can someone please help me what should I do?
I believe it is some software issue something is interfering with the Bluetooth operations but I may be wrong

The Intel Wi-Fi/BT Intel® Wi-Fi 6 AX201 card that your AN515-55 has is a problematic card (see this Support Troubleshooter for the Intel® Wi-Fi 6 AX201 card) and is the same as my Intel® Wi-Fi 6 AX1650i card that is in my AN515-56, which has given me allot of problems with BT drivers and its no wonder that the sound doesn't work or it stops intermittently in BT as that is where I've had BT problems with in my AN515-56! For instance, the AX1650i card in Win-11 refuses to work with any other driver in BT than the OEM Acer Intel driver version 22.40.0.2 which is a driver also for the Intel AX201 that you have, as any other drivers from Intel updates (which there are 3 newer ones) or from Windows Update when this cards Wi-Fi/BT drivers are updated, it stops working completely in BT and its completely dead no signal or sound, hence and only the BT drivers of the Intel version 22.40.0.2 work.

What driver are you running for this Intel
AX201 card? As and if you are running the latest Intel version 22.140.0 that is your problem if the Intel troubleshooting above didn't work for the AX201 ?  Try to completely uninstall the BT drivers and reinstall the OEM version 22.40.0.2 Acer drivers again for the for the Intel® Wi-Fi 6 AX201 card, also uninstall your old NVIDIA graphics driver and update the NVIDIA graphics driver to the latest from their site, as this problem is with the Intel drivers for especially BT. Good luck and hope this helps you out as I've had allot of problems with BT drivers with my Intel® Wi-Fi 6 AX1650i BT but not the Wi-Fi.

I am having the same problem. I have the 22.40.0.2 driver installed and it isn't helping. Maybe it is because the speaker has a microphone? I have noticed on the bluetooth screen that it flashes the microphone connected on and off quite quickly when the devices are connected and cpu usage spikes.

I don't know about the microphone part, as I'm connecting my JBL LIVE650BTNC noise cancelling headphones that has a microphone and when this dreaded thing connects , both headphones and microphone work fine and very well and i get really great sound and the microphone works perfectly, the only connection problem I'm having is with the dreaded Bluetooth, as it refuses to connect and there is no new updated driver for Win-11 that will work with the Killer AX1650i card from Intel except the Intel Bluetooth Acer provided driver Version 22.40.0.2, which is very annoying as it doesn't work automatically and you have to muck around sometimes for ages to get the BT connected.

I've even tried to get rid of this dreaded Killer AX1650i card and replace it with a new Intel AX211 - 2.4, 5, 6 GHz (160MHz)/BT 5.3 card but it doesn't work, don't attempt to do this as disconnecting the Black Wi-Fi MAIN & White AUX BT antenna wires is a nightmare to reconnect as those brass clip-on clips are so tiny and awkward to reconnect and get damaged so easily, that and if you damage them then you have to solder them to the card top pins, which happened to me and I'm lucky as I've got a micro soldering pen that is tiny enough to solder small wires like that onto those tiny card clips.

Just as an illustration, the below cation is the Black MAIN Wi-Fi clip wire connector, see how tiny it is, as and when I fitted the new Intel AX211 card both antenna Black & White wires fitted into the cards MAIN & AUX clips perfectly but unfortunately the card didn't work, tried all the drivers that were supposed to be compatible but got no Wi-Fi or BT connection in Device Manager, so I gave up after about 1 hour, but then trying to fit these tiny clips back again into the oem Killer AX1650i card, was impossible as the clips got damaged and if they get damaged you need to solder them to the cards MAIN & AUX clips or change the whole two antenna wires for new clips, which is a very big job plus you need to buy the wires which both wires delivered is $112.50 Australian dollars which is unbelievably expensive, so be aware of the amount of problems it is to change anything on these laptops if you don't have the proper equipment.
