Nitro 5 AN515-44-R0DL laptop screen doesn't work

I booted up my laptop and began working (I noticed that it was really slow in booting up). I had the file explorer and Firefox open when the screen suddenly froze. Then the blue, windows "something went wrong" came up for a few seconds before shutting down. Now, I can't get the laptop to turn on any anymore.

When I press the power button, the backlight on the keyboard lights up and the fans run faster and faster, but the screen doesn't appear to be on at all. If I let it, the fans just continue to run faster and faster, as if it's stuck somewhere in the boot sequence.

I'll note that I have had to send in this laptop to repair for a screen issue before, about a year ago. The symptoms were different that time though.

Any ideas on what to do to solve the issue?

So, I decided to open the back. I took out the RAM and cleaned it with a pencil eraser and put it back in the opposite slot. Then the laptop started! I still need to put in the other one, but it seems something with the RAM was the issue.816195
