My Acer Predator Helios Neo 16 has a problem

Could you please post the full model name, like PHN16-xx, also tell us whether you get this window when installing the operating system?

Yes, depending on which model you have you might be required to install a storage driver, like iRTS, from the install process, before the drives will appear. We can tell you for sure and provide instructions once we know what model you have. Your full model number is usually on the same sticker as your serial number, it should look something like PHNxx-xxx-xxxx. Yours is likely one of the PHN16-71 models though, since they are new enough there aren't lots of different ones out there. If that is your model type, you will need to extract the iRST drivers downloaded from the Acer support site to a folder on your Windows 11 install flash drive. There is a file in that that tells you which inf files will need to be installed. On the installation screen when Windows is asking where to install, just use the load driver option to install those inf files and the drive should appear.

I have to ask though, why bother? Didn't your machine come with Windows 11 installed, along with all the Acer utilities? It's not compatible with Windows 10…
