Im wondering if reinstalling windows would be a bad idea for my drivers, like would it get rid of the important/useful drivers that came with the laptop?

This is an individual matter, some prefer Clean installing Windows over an installed OEM Windows version at each problem/system issue they encounter more or less like a routine operation. Others, like me, never do that but backup monthly the boot drive to an external USB backup drive and restore from that in case of problems or Reset Windows without losing your data. Also make sure you have the Windows11 System Restore feature activated so Windows aromatically backs up the registry and system files. You can then restore the system to an earlier point in a matter of minutes. Also you can roll back windows updates. I think a Clean install should be your last option if everything else fails.
