Got a PO3-620 Model D19W6 that I want to upgrade the power supply to an EVGA 650 P5 Supernova

My question is who's the genius who thought a proprietary Mobo connection was a good idea, whoever it is needs to find another profession cause wow.

Also what do I need to get to make this work. I saw threads saying you need a dell adapter and that will work. Then saw other threads about burning up your motherboard. So I'm nervous of getting the wrong thing. test

Nope, you will have to roll your own adapter, at least I have seen none on the market that will work without mods. The new MBs, to meet Intel's branding requirements, need to have the ATX12VO power supplies, but the connectors used are different for different manufacturers, even though the signals are the same. Acer uses a 6 pin for PS_On and 2x12V. then either a 4 pin, two 4 pins or an 8 pin for more 12V. Some other manufacturers use a 10 pin to replace the 6 and one 4 that Acer uses.
