an515-46-r5xn Hot cpu ? the cpu fans on max speed, Is there a solution?

I recently bought an515-46-r5xn (3070ti & ryzen 7 6800H ) about 3 or 4 month and noticed i have high cpu temperature like 94c while playing games like remnant 2 and starfield, and the cpu useg didn't pas 70% most of time, and i the cpu fans on max speed . Is there a solution?

Did you switch off turbo boost? that will cause it to get hot. 93°C. is still OK the CPU can sustain 100°C. If that temperature worries you bring the laptop to Acer Services in your country before the warranty expires. Ask them to clean/check the fans and reapply thermal paste.

The turbo boost is off , are you sure that the cpu can handle 94c degree, i will contact acer to see about the hot cpu temperature

There are several versions of the bios related to the thermal table (fan speed vs temperature control). Update the bios to the latest version:

Your Nitro AN515-46-R5XM laptops cpu is preset to a 94°C CPU T-control / 100°C shutdown and its VGA 87°C, GPS(TC) / VGA 96°C, Shutdown. Make sure that both the cpu and gpu thermal pads are changed once a year and paste has been repasted with high quality paste at least once but preferably twice a year and all your laptops' fans and vents are cleaned out, I own Niro 5 AN515-56 i7/RTX3050 and I"ve got no problems with temps, as I do the above always and also use a laptop tablet cooler, which helps the laptops base from being blocked and keeps its ventilation circulating at all times.
With the bios update, it should only be done if your Nitro laptop operates 100% and needs the bios updates as outlined above for the cooling of your laptop, as and if your laptop is experiencing BSODs or freezes or crashes its very dangerous to do a bios update and should not be done, because a power interruption in the middle of a bios update like a laptop freeze or a laptop system crash will brick the bios chip programing of your laptop and your laptops will not boot and its bios chip will have to be reprogrammed with a special bios reprogramming tool or even its bios chip change with a new chip, that is why Acer warns its users with the warning below, as Acer does not know if your Nitro AN515-46-R5XM is working 100% and will not crash.
