Your model uses (legacy) Microsoft generic UVC driver for integrated webcams (possibly the VGA Webcam that you mention above).

For Windows11 try this: Update your BIOS with last week's released BIOS version 1.23, Uninstall the Webcam driver in Cameras Device Manager, check also Hidden Devices uninstall anything with VGA Webcam, USB Video Class driver or HD user-facing driver. Make sure your internet is working and reboot. Windows11 should install a W11 compatible webcam driver.

  • Hi,

Go to Device manager, expand Camera, right click and select Properties, move to Driver tab and uninstall the driver, reboot and let Windows install the driver, you may not have the HD User facing camera installed in your model.

If you don't have this Intel driver or an older version download and install the 2021 Serial IO driver, it may include the camera driver.

If that does not work I would give up trying to get a W11 driver for your integrated webcam, there are many threads with similar camera driver issues. You can get good external W11 USB Logitech cameras for $20 or you can go high end with a Hello Facial Recognition IR/3D camera.
