Why is my laptop GPU usage reaching 20 - 35% maximum ?

Thank you so much for scamming me acer. I got this laptop few days ago and seems like my GPU is barely using it's usage (25% - 35%)

I bought an rtx 3060 6GB with a ryzer 7 5800H 8 cores CPU and it has 8 gb ram 3200 MHz and an SSD.

My Nvidia driver is updated and my nvdia control panel has the perfect settings. It's set to high performance on the 3d settings page and the power plan is preferred to maximum performance. OpenGL rendering GPU is set to the rtx 3060 laptop GPU and and physx is also set to the rtx 3060 and I have a monitor plugged since my rtx 3060 wont work in the laptop monitor.

 I also have performance mode on the power plan battery area and i selected it. My geforce experience has the 30 - 60 fps turned off meaning that my fps is also not capped.

I've been looking through other threads and seems like no one was able to figure out any fix to it.

I recently tested an asus laptop which my cousin owns with a GPU of 1660 ti and a ryzen graphics card which is worse than mine but his gpu usage is between 90% to 100% while mine is on 25% so he got more fps than my laptop. His specs r way worse than mine but yet he still was able to get more fps on every game.

I wasted so much money on this and yet only 25% (mostly) - 35% (rarely) is used on from my GPU which is basically worse than a 1660 ti which costs way less money than an rtx 3060. If I dont find a fix from this thread it means acer scammed me I lost so much money.

Please help me out before my mind goes out of control ;-;

    Hello, I already have the latest bios version. I tried dowloading the firmware and this is what it said:

    "Fail: This Vbios version 94.06.19.00.5f has been installed"
    Looks like I have everything that's needed to run the laptop at it's smoothest performance but yet, my GPU is letting it down.
    I already tried the windows optimization thread too, nothing helped. It had no effect on the GPU at all.

    My CPU usage is supposed to be lower than my GPU's usage but due to my GPU not using any of it's power, my CPU is focused which makes the usage high and that just makes my laptop so slow and my rtx 3060 GPU is so useless to the point that I can't even play fortnite smoothly.

    My cousin's asus GTX 1660 TI laptop has 100% GPU usage and that removes all his input delay and increases his FPS rapidly and doesn't overload his CPU which makes the laptop run smoothly for as long as he wants.

    I really believe that the ASUS motherboard/bios is what allows his GPU to reach 100%. All my cousin did was go to nvdia and change the power management mode to "prefer maximum performance" and that automatically forced his GPU to use it's maximum power which is 100% usage. But when I do that on my acer laptop using the nvdia 3d settings, it does no effect on the GPU. I even tried "power management mode: Normal" which is supposed to be a low performance but yet it's the same effect as the "prefer maximum performance" which makes me think that acer is not allowing nvdia to control the GPU usage based on the settings chosen by the user. And I think that comes from their bios/motherboard

  • Is the computer configured for high performance in power options? Have you enabled graphics settings yet?

    @Doytrextry to use display driver uninstaller to completely uninstall the Nvidia driver and download the latest one from here: https://www.nvidia.com/download/index.aspx
    Please remember to include @AnhEZ28 when you want to reply back to my comment so that I can check your response.
    Thank you and have a nice day!
