Camera Still Not Working On Acer PH315-55 what do I need to do to get it working?

Can anyone help me with getting my camera working on Acer PH315-55 Laptop Camera flashed on and off on zoom but most of the time it just does not work at all.

I have the Install the Camera App it behaves just like the Zoom App. The camera flashes on and off, the light dose the same BUT sometimes while the Camera is still not working the Camera Sensor Light stays on and will not turn off even when I Restart the Laptop. I have to Click “Shut Down” only when it as shut down dose the camera Light switch off.

Weeks later, now its not picking up the camera at all.

Consider buying a Logitech USB camera ($20) with a driver for your Windows version. Zoom takes complete control of your camera so you have to adjust the camera setting in the Zoom app.

I have thought about getting an external camera, but it's a crying shame. This is the most expensive laptop I have ever bought, yet is the only one that I cannot use the internal camera. Acer needs to get their act together and fix these problems. Thank you Puraw for your help. I think I will need to give them call.

Integrated Webcams in laptops are often low-end. Get one of these IR-3D cameras so you can use Face authentication in Windows Hello:

Unfortunately the problems that you are getting is due to a hardware fault of your camera and its wires that you need to check them all out if they are not broken and/or its affecting the camera functions, laptop cameras don't behave like yours do from software issues as its only due to hardware problems like either the camera wires or the actual camera. Check the eDP to the camera wires and the camera itself from the laptop top case and inspect all plugs and wires and connection of the eDP cable to your camera.

The below parts are the parts that you should be checking and see if they are not faulty or damaged, and if they are, then replace them with the following Acer parts and their part numbers for your PH315-55
