my new acer nitro 5 an515 58 laptop screen always flickering black

I just bought this acer nitro 5 an515 58 laptop 6 days ago, and the screen always flickering black for few frame (like less than a half sec) in some apps. It will flickering more after using it few more hours. I already tried to update my gpu driver from geforce exp and it causing issue like the gpu not detected then i revert back with restore point (i havent tried with ddu yet).

I read online some people say reinstalling my windows will help fix it, but does reinstalling windows will void my warranty? and will i lose all the office activation?

This problem is due to having the Intel Graphics Command Center > Refresher Setting turned On and you need to turn it Off, this happened to my Nitro 5 AN515-56 after an update of the Intel Arc graphics driver. also look at this Intel article at "How to Fix a Flickering Screen with Intel® Graphics"

Start with doing this for laptops:

Disable the Panel Self Refresh setting in the Intel Graphics Command Center by following these steps (see caption below).

How to Enable and Disable Panel Self Refresh

Panel self-refresh can save power by allowing the panel to refresh independently. Follow these steps to enable or disable panel self-refresh in the Intel® Graphics Command Center:

From the Windows Start Menu, search for the Intel Graphics Command Center. Double click the Intel® Graphics Command Center icon to open the application.

Click System in the left navigational menu.

In the Power tab, locate Panel Self Refresh and click the enable/disable button.

Go to the SEARCH space at the bottom taskbar in Win-11 or 10 and search for the Intel Graphics Command Center as that should bring this up, make sure that you have this installed, as you might not have the Intel Graphics Command Center? You should come up with this:

Then Click System in the left navigational menu.

Then go to Power tab, locate Panel Self Refresh and click on Off its very simple

Try the Plugged in mode in your Intel Graphics Command Center, as the Panel Self Refresh should be there, if not then go to Microsoft Store and search for IntelGraphics Command Center and then Update your version of this software, as you must have an old version. As your Nitro laptop with Intel 12th Gen CPU should have the latest Intel Graphics Command Center. MylaptopisaNitroAN515-56 is an 11th Gen Nitro laptop and it has it
