I tried to install intel rapid storage driver but intel website it is given vmd controller should be turned on I tried it after turning on im getting blue screen with inacessible boot device
@Muhil then, first of all, enable the safe mode by pressing Win + R, typing msconfig, navigating to the boot tab, checking the box Safe Mode, clicking OK, and then restarting the Windows. Before it boots up, quickly press F2 to go into the BIOS and enable the controller. After saving everything and restarting, you should be in Safe mode for now. You don't have to do anything other than go to the msconfig again and uncheck the Safe mode box.
From now on, you should be able to access normal Windows again.
@MRWHOAMI_78 why though im asking ?
I dont have intel rapid storage driver installed
but before i had intel rapid storage driver and intel optane management app was not giving these kinds of error
for reference this is my device manager
as u can see I dont have intel rapid storage driver I have my laptop to install factory version of windows 11 to acer authorised service center
after that only im unable to open the app and rapid storage driver is not installed should that be installed when installing the windows 11?
idk if they did it or not @MRWHOAMI_78
@AnhEZ28 bro my issue is not about the app im facing stutter and lag and i found intel rapid storage drivers is not there , to install it we need to enable vmd controller in bios it seems so I tried it . I enable vmd in bios and started to boot then it caused blue screen with inaccessible driver error
when i brought the laptop intel optane app was working and rapid storage driver was installed , but wheni try to directly install rapid storage drivers im getting unsupport platform error ( all drivers from support page only)
@Muhil then, first of all, enable the safe mode by pressing Win + R, typing msconfig, navigating to the boot tab, checking the box Safe Mode, clicking OK, and then restarting the Windows. First enable safeboot in msconfig. Press windows+r, type msconfig, go to system startup and enable safeboot. Restart windows, access the bios and then activate the vmd controller.
Yes! When booting from safeboot, you won't have blue screen issues.
@egydiocoelho can we then install intel rapid storage from support page right?
@egydiocoelho and @AnhEZ28 thanks a lot guys you have been really helpful it worked flawlessly the optane app is working and all the intel rapid storage driver got installed thanks
@AnhEZ28 can we install rapid storage driver after installing windows in my case i have dont this only, does this work same as the the driver installed before installing windows 11 is both same ?
It recommended to install before the windows installation but i have done only after so is both same ?
@egydiocoelho will it be same after installing windows and before installing ? please can u answer the above question that i asked to @AnhEZ28
There should be no ssd performance difference when you install the driver before or after installing windows.
The stuttering problem may be at high temperatures. I advise checking temperatures with hwmonitor.
@egydiocoelho the temps are normal only stutter and lag only occurs when using intel gpu after playing game with nvidia gpu , i have optimus enabled scroll lag video lag mouse poiner lag
How is the display mode configured?
@egydiocoelho its optimus only
