  1. Is there a disassembly guide available that can be used as a reference for this particular model?
  2. Which brand liquid metal and thermal pads are recommended?
  3. What should be the thickness of the thermal pad?

I believe I've seen disassembly videos for this model on Youtube, so search "disassemble Acer Predator Helios 300 PH315-55" on YouTube for a guide on disassembly.

For thermal pads that's tougher, I don't know and you'll probably have to search ebay for thermal pads and make sure to read their descriptions to make sure they say they're a fit for your model. If you're careful disassembling though you shouldn't need to replace the thermal pads, just keep them clean and reapply.

If you need to reapply thermal paste just buy anything really, the performance difference will be negligible. Arctic Silver is a good brand, I see Kryonaut recommended, really just get any non-conductive compound and you're good to go. Just apply a dot in the center of the chip before reinstalling the heatsink, it'll squish it down when you reinstall. The dot should look big enough to just barely cover the CPU heatspreader. Don't overdo it, you don't need a lot, but don't freak out about measuring because excess will just squeeze out the sides (which is why you want non-conductive compound! liquid metal stuff is cool, but requires caution)
