I have a Chromebook Spin 514. It used to belong to an organization, and they never cleaned out the chromebooks before selling them. That means I can just log on as a guest user or something, and none of the alternatives for resetting the think I found on google has worked. I hope someone here can help. Just to reset or clean out the thing, or do a full linux install only.. I appreciate all help.

Acer does not support Chrome OS like Android operating systems anymore, so you will have to get all Android OS from Google. The Chromebook CB514-xx that you have is a Chromebook and NOT an Acer Spin laptop. The CB514-xx that you have has 4GB or 8GB onboard soldered memory and also 32GB or 64GB eMMC soldered storage and you can add extra storage by additional memory cards like an; Micro SD, Micro SDHC or Micro SDXC cards.

Hi, and thanks for the comments. Yes it is a Chromebook from Acer. Has 4gb of ram, 128gb of storage, AMD Ryzen cpu. I cannot seem to find a way to reset the Chrome OS. Idont want to have Chrome OS if I can avoid it, but if I have to I have to find a way around the fact that my accsess is not as admin. And since it is a Chromebook, I ger no boot options. It is relatively new, and I really want it to work. Again, thanks for

For it to be a Chromebook Spin the model number would be something like CP514 instead of CB514. The big difference is that the Spin models have a touchscreen and the display rotates all the way around to tablet mode. Not a big difference if you are planning to just use it as a laptop. Google has the repository of all OS loads for it, but a lot of Enterprise systems are locked to only use the Enterprise version of the OS. If the system came from Acer as a special for the enterprise then you might not be able to easily convert it to the regular OS, if the enterprise itself converted it then you might be able to just reload the OS from Google and get what you need.
