Being totally honest here, I am a rookie with computer repair so I am reaching out for expertise from those of you with knowledge on this topic.

I have a Predator Helios 300 laptop (PH315-52) that was dropped. The hinge on the left side of the screen was damaged. I bought a new hinge, LCD screen, top case plastic and bezel. After researching online and watching some instructional videos, I was able to replace the hinge and top case plastic successfully. Before I attached the new LCD screen to the top case I plugged in the wire and it worked. The computer booted up as expected so I proceeded to attach the new LCD screen to the top case, tuck the wires around the perimeter of the case and attach the bezel. After being put back together, the screen that worked before I installed the bezel won't turn on. I removed the bezel and LCD screen and hooked the laptop to external monitors and it works perfectly fine.

What should my next step be? The wires were difficult to tuck in around the perimeter of the case. I'm wondering if they were pinched/damaged somewhere. They looked a little beat up before I attached the LCD screen and it worked at that point.

Any pointers to help troubleshoot before I continue to buy parts hoping that solves the problem?

Thanks for your assistance.
