You Can also check this-
Your Aspire F5-573G does not support the 980 Pro SSD as its a PCIe 4x4 M.2 SSD drive and it doesn't support the Samsung 980 PCIe 3.0 NVMe M.2 SSD which is a PCIe 3 x4 type M.2 drive, your laptop only supports M.2 SSD Interface Type: SATA-3 6.0 Gb/s type drives, that have a B&M end key type like its listed for this laptops in its Acer SG below, btw you can put up to M.2 SSD 1TB size drive and up to 2TB 2.5" SATA-3 mechanical 5400rpm type drives or 2.5" SATA-3 SSD drives:

Hello! Yes, this model has an nvme slot, see:
The 980 should work. But there are two variants of this model: one is the 980 pro gen4x4 and the other is the 980 gen3x4. Look for the model gen3x4.
Thank you confirming
There was a user who managed to install an nvme on an f5-573 with a sixth generation processor, see:
But also see that although windows has recognized the ssd, the bios seems to have some incompatibility with nvme, as it did not appear in the informatio tab. I believe this happened, because maybe it's a model with a sixth generation processor and maybe a different chipset;
Now, see that another user who has an f5-573g with a 7th gen processor successfully installed a 2tb nvme:
