Acer Aspire 7-76G 16GB 144hz GTX1650 only shows 60hz

I recently purchased an Acer Aspire 7 laptop (Ref: [UN.QMESI.003]) from 
. The product was advertised with a 144Hz display refresh rate.
However, upon receiving the laptop, it seems to have a 60Hz display instead.
I have raised a ticket with Acer support but haven't received any replies so far. To my surprise, I noticed that the product listing on the original site has been changed.
I feel misled and concerned about this discrepancy. Is there any explanation for the change in specifications or could this be a potential scam?
I have documentation of my purchase and the original product listing showing the 144Hz specification. What should be my next steps to resolve this issue?
Any assistance or advice on how to proceed would be greatly appreciated.

@SureshKanna so surely the model you got has a 60Hz screen only. Return it immediately if you don't satisfy with the advertised specification.

In the List of Modes it only shows 60hz

@SureshKanna there is a sticker on the screen bezel. Does it say FullHD or 144Hz?

If your laptop has 144Hz refresher rate it should be shown System > display > Advanced display like below on my Nitro AN515-56 and you should have a choice between 60Hz and 144Hz, if you only have 60Hz then you don't have 144Hz refresher rate and it it was advertised as 144Hz then send the laptop back to Acer and get them to change the laptop, as a 60Hz screen can't be upgraded to a 144Hz screen as they have different screen connectors the 60Hz has 30 pin video connector while the 144Hz plus 165Hz and 240Hz all have 40pin video connectors.

@StevenGen how to return this product. I raised a ticket and waited 1 week for their response. No use. Can I return it now. In India the return policy says we need to return it before 7 days. 😭 I ordered it on July 15, 2023 and received on July
