Remove the hard drive (or your primary boot SSD) and then boot with F2. Assuming there isn't any problem with your display, it should light up and you should be able to access the BIOS. If that's the case, then the problem is with your hard drive.

If still no boot possible, try the Hard Reset and Power Drain methods discussed in many threads on this forum: Disconnect the battery, take out the CMOS coin battery, connect (shorten) the +/- contacts inside the CMOS housing with a bended paperclip, put the coin battery back in with the + side up, reseat (firmly) the DDR4 modules and press the power button for 1 full minute. Close the laptop and try to boot with the power adapter only, if that works, try to boot with the battery connected and the power adapter, if no boot you need to replace the battery.

thank you for your answer though I managed to get the charging light to turn on after trying a different outlet last night, it took a couple attempts for it to power on but eventually it did so I figure it might have been a power surge or something but not sure. I let it die and it is on and charging now. My only concern now is the fan noise, it sounds really bad and dont really know why.

Go into Nitro Sense of your AN515-54 set it to Fan Control > Custom and turn the setting down on both CPU/GPU fans to reduce fan speed. Otherwise change the system cooling policy > change Advanced Power Settings >Balanced, if both don't work then there is an internal fsult that needs to be checked out by a technician as the power surge has done other internal damage to your laptop.
