Hi @SleptDrack can you please indicate the exact model of the computer and the version of Windows installed?
The model should be something similar to:
    PT516

If the equipment does not turn on with the battery and neither with the power supply connected, it must be an internal power supply problem, in these cases you should have the equipment checked by a technical service.
If the equipment is still under warranty, contact Acer first.

    Thank you.
    All the best.

Do a hard reset, open the base cover take the main battery out, disconnect the bios battery and short its + & - mainboard plug pins and take the ram out, leave the laptop like that for 15min and reconnect all components with just 1x ram module if you have 2x ram modules, then if the laptop boots with 1x ram module try the other and see if it works with that also, as this will test if this fault was caused by a faulty ram.

Doing this hard reset in 99% of times will boot and fix the power ON issues of your laptop, if it doesn't then your laptop has an internal problem with its power/charging circuitries like a capacitor, resistor or a mosat that has burned out or shorted out and you need a technician to fix.

Try what you have been told, if the problem persists and if the equipment does not turn on with the battery and neither with the power supply connected, it must be an internal power supply problem, in these cases you should have the equipment checked by a technical service.
If the equipment is still under warranty, contact Acer first

    Thank you.
