I have an acer predator Helios 300 php315-52 laptop idk why I am getting blue screen of error while playing games. I even replaced the thermal paste and the temp is not going above 85 degree and I even reset the window and install every driver still the issue didn't fixed. Please help me anyone. It's only happening with the games which needs more CPU and gpu and after 2 -3 min blue screen appears

Update I went to acer service center today they checked every hardware and software too it took almost 4 hours and in the end it was the intel driver cuz of that I was getting blue screen so I updated the driver. And about the power issue in event viewer in windows. I was connecting rgb mouse. Rgb keyboard, rgb laptop stand cooler and even us microphone in a USB hub connected to single USB port in laptop that's why power issue. Rest im so happy after an year I finally could able to know what was the actual error.

    Welcome @AtanuDas,

Please download BlueScreenView, then attach here a screenshot with these BSOD's are occurring.

I have a question the error is happenings I use my gaming laptop while charging and sometimes it even shut down without showing any blue screen. Everything got stuck literally you can't move even mouse cursor and then suddenly you hear radio static noise and then laptop off. Like I directly cut off the main source of electricity power from laptop. Is it happening because of some motherboard power delivery issue or something?

    Hi @AtanuDas,

At first it might just be a driver problem! Please, compact and attach here all *.DMP files located in folder bellow:

    C:\Windows\Minidump

Thank you for the information provided! Apparently these STOP errors DRIVER_VERIFIER_DETECTED_VIOLATION (0x000000C4) that you are experiencing are being caused by these driver:

BstkDrv_msi5.sys (BlueStacks App Player (Android Emulator)

Hey eGomes I am right now playing Hogwarts legacy and my CPU temp 85 and gpu 81 and I am not getting any blue screen but if I play later during afternoon im pretty sure I will get blue screen because in summer the humidity is so much high here. Do you think it might be temperature issue. Because I can play game right now and my room temperatures is 29

Initially, your temperatures seem to be okay! But you can monitor them with HWMonitor.

Download it and keep it running for a few minutes while you play your games. Then attach here a screenshot with the result of reading all sensors.

If you have problems regarding very excessive humidity in the environment, this can cause oxidation problems on the SMD components of the motherboard.

Great job, @AtanuDas! Your  i7-9750H temperature is very close to its 100°C thermal limit (Tjunction). HWMonitor through "Temperature limit" parameter has revealed that your GPU NVIDIA RTX 2060 is also exceeding its thermal threshold.

Try to improve the cooling of your laptop by keeping it a few centimeters away from the surface to improve airflow in / out. It may also be necessary to replace thermal paste of the CPU / dGPU with a good quality and clean the FAN to remove dust.

Another possibility (may not be your case), is that the cooling system liquid from the heatsink pipes has evaporated by leaking, causing the laptop's cooling system to lose its efficiency.

About the previous BSODs, check for updates for BlueStacks App Player or use another Android software emulator.

How to replace the cooling system liquid please tell me.

It's just a possibility, I don't believe your laptop's heatsink coolant has leaked yet! Because usually this occurs after many years of use. What I believe is not your case! 😉

Before, try tips mentioned above to improve airflow and cooling:

Hey I recently went to service center and I bought kryonaut thermal paste and I changed the thermal paste and clean the laptop. It was 2 months before and I am getting this issue for an year but when they opened it there was no liquid spilled from cooler or no broken heatsink. So I think everything good except that the idle temp of laptop is just 35 degree celcius. But point is the place where I am living the temp due to humidity reach 48 to 50 degree celcius. Trust me in winter season I never get this error even last winter I was playing game while recording in obs and still the laptop didn't crash. So I think its not an issue with heatsink cuz 2 month before I checked it. Might be the humidity here. Do you think if I buy a cooling pad instead it will help. Because the cooling pad I am using right now, is not that good and cuz of dust in cooling pad the fan moving so slow.

Surely a better cooling pad will help you! For hot days, you can Limit the Maximum CPU Power state to 95 ~ 99% (see Control Panel \ Power Options \ Change plan settings \ Advanced settings).

but it will disable turbo boost of CPU right and the performance of laptop will get reduced because of it?

Yes, it will limit CPU performance a bit! But in your case, you need to reconcile performance x stability.

Apply these tips, and then comment here on your results!

can you help me how can I undervolt the CPU I have seen its always run at 4.4ghz if I reduce it to 3.8 or 3.9 might be a safe balance between performance and temperature. I have acer predator helios 300 ph315-52, 2019 edition

    I7 9th gen.
