I can't boot my Extensa 15 ex215-52 laptop from USB (neither from flash drive nor from DVD).

The device does not appear in the Boot menu. It only shows the OS installed on the SSD.
I can't boot using the boot menu either (it also displays only the OS installed on the SSD).

Secure Boot is disabled in the BIOS.

What can I do to boot from USB?

    I solved my problem.
    The procedure is this:

    1. On the Boot tab, temporarily enable Security Boot mode
    2. On the Security tab, add the efi-file of this disk to the list of trusted sources
    3. On the Boot tab, disable the Security Boot mode
    4. Reboot

I hope my experience is useful to somebody else.

Check if the bootable USB will boot on another Windows (same version you have) PC, make a new one and verify that you are using compatible USB flash drives (stick USB2>USB2.0 port). Depending on what you want to do, just boot your laptop and restore the system or Clean install Windows with an ISO image. for just booting your laptop, use Windows recovery option on the other PC, type Recovery drive in Search. If you want to Clean install Windows follow this tutorial:

I have no Windows on my laptop. My system is MX Linux.

I've tried booting System Rescue CD, MX Linux live DVD and Windows 10 install disk from both USB flash drive and USB DVD drive. All of these media are readable when the system is booted, but are not visible in the boot menu.
    I checked both USB2 and USB3 connectors.

You really don't want to leave Secure Boot disabled. Set the Linux distribution EFI image as trusted and leave Secure Boot enabled after the install.
