I need help with getting a graphics card to work in TC-1660-UA19

I have the TC-1660-UA19. For a graphics card I have the RTX 3060. Now my question is, how do I get this thing to work? I'm new when it comes to adding things into PC's. From what I've looked into, I need a 12V 500 Watt PSU to make this work? Is it possible to replace my current 12V 300 Watt PSU with a 500 Watt one? (DC.5001B.009 part number) and if I can put that into my TC-1660-UA19, will I be able to connect my RTX 3060 to it and make it work?

The TC-1660 PSU comes oem with a 300W to 500W PSUs fitted by Acer. The RTX3060 GPU needs a minimum of a 550W to a 600W PSUs (as they differ from manufacturers, so check the RTX3060 that you have) to operate and with your Aspire TC-1660 desktop that has an Acer proprietary motherboard and a single phase 8 pin 300W-500W PSUs your PSU will not be able to power the RTX3060 gpu. The TC-1660 came oem with either the GEFORCE GTX 1650.4GB GDDR5 for the 500W PSU desktops or the GEFORCE GT 730.2GB DDR3.64B.900MHz gpu's for the 300W desktops PSUs.

You will need to get a new modular 650W PSUs that are all fitted with a 24 pin type connectors, also you need to measure if these new ATX PSUs will fit into the TC-1660 case and then you need to buy an 8pin to 24pin adaptor, as once you do that the 24 pin converted to the 8 pin which is the power for CPU will work. With the GPU power, you need to put your GPU into PCI-E slot and plug its power connectors to GPU card from the new PSU. This is the only way that you can make that RTX3060 work with your Aspire TC-1660 desktop.

Aspire TC-1660 Motherboard #16 is the PCIE16Х to connect the RTX3060 GPU and #18 is the ATX_12V Auxiliary 8-pin power connector to connect an 8pin to 24pin adaptor to connect to the new modular PSU.

Thank you for the feedback. I've been looking online for PSU's, would the Corsair CX650M PSU work with my computer? and it would work with the motherboard and the GPU? I'm still pretty new to this so there's a lot I'm unaware of and need to learn.

The Acer 500W supply will work fine with the 3060, that's what Acer ships in a lot of their lower end gaming systems with the same PSU.

Fit a NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 12 GB as it requires a 450W PSU
