So, My Acer nitro 5 AN515 model laptop, I spilt Gatorade on the left side accidentally and it wasn’t in the bottle, it was in a mason jar and it was blue cool Gatorade and I spilt it on June 14, at 3:30 maybe? So when that happened I held the power button which I just learned causes a short circuit and we put in in a bag of rice, flipped it over and dried with fans, cloths, and me and my mom tried everything so when I went to go plug it in, the blue light showed up for a bit but when I pressed the power button it wouldn’t turn on and now the blue light was gone, and we still haven’t taken it to a repair shop yet and we are wondering if we can do anything at home? It hasn’t turned on since then and I’ve been looking in the openings from upside down and there’s dust and in a usb cable there looks like there are collapsed cords so get back to me as soon as possible as I don’t know what to do.

What is the exact Nitro 5 AN515-XX model number, as you missed the last two numbers? Due to you spilling liquid inside your laptop it most definitely has shorted circuitries inside. A user like you can't fix anything, these laptops have microscopic components that need diagnosing with a multi meter and a thermal gun and under a microscope, you need specialist soldering tools to fix any problems also.

Don't touch your laptop and take your Nitro 5 to either Acer in your area or to an experienced technician that can fix your laptop, as liquid damage can do allot of dame and in many cases it destroys laptops motherboards beyond repair and you will need a new motherboard.

The Nitro 5 AN515-55-53AG below board is just one board that will fit and can be installed to your existing AN515-55 laptop, and its specs are as follows: it has a 10th Gen Intel Core i5 10300H and Nvidia GTX 1650 Mobile with 4 GB VRAM and Intel UHD Graphics 630.
